Vitesco Technologies, a leading international supplier of advanced drive technologies and solutions for e-mobility, today publishes its first Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Report.

The report documents the company’s progress across four DE&I strategic pillars: Listen and Learn; Develop and Retain Employees; Instill Accountability and Be a Role Model.

Vitesco Technologies has committed itself to comply with the UN Women Principles and the Diversity Charter Principles. Continuing the journey to create an inclusive workplace, the company has developed inclusive leadership practices: Leaders undergo coaching initiatives as well as training on unconscious bias and inclusive leadership, among other things. In addition, the company supports its employees in setting up Employee Resource Groups. These are voluntary, employee-led interest groups on specific characteristics or life experiences. The company has also set itself the goal of increasing the proportion of women in management positions to 21 percent by 2026.

“This report represents a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards creating a more equitable and inclusive work environment,” said Florencia Stanfield, Chief Diversity Officer at Vitesco Technologies

Vitesco Technologies has a diverse workforce of around 35,500 employees from 97 nations at around 50 locations. “We recognize that our continued success depends on our ability to build a work environment that champions diversity, equity and inclusion worldwide”, Stanfield explains.

2023 was a year of consolidation and growth in the company’s DE&I practice. Various DE&I initiatives have matured, the ERGs have expanded their reach to multiple countries and locations, and new DE&I Councils have been formed. Vitesco Technologies’ efforts in DE&I have been recognized several times with various awards.
