24pay launches a new “Donations” section in the app and announces its partnership with Dăruiește Viață, a project that brings users closer to causes they can support and initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the community.

Until now, the “24pay” brand has been primarily associated with regular mobile payments like utilities, tickets, subscriptions, or various taxes. By adding the “Donations” section, the company enables payments that users choose to make, whenever and however they can, supporting the healthcare system in Romania.

To support Dăruiește Viață initiatives, users can access the “Donations” section in the “Others” category, to select the Dăruiește Viață Association, choose the amount they want to donate, enter the requested details, and pay directly in the app using their enrolled credit card. Payment confirmation can be sent via email.

“We are honored to launch this partnership with Dăruiește Viață, especially as this announcement comes ahead of the Winter Holidays, a time when we are more open to humanitarian initiatives and dedicate more time to others and good deeds. We are confident that our app users will increasingly support the wonderful projects initiated by Dăruiește Viață, and we hope this involvement becomes a habit throughout the year. With over 2.3 million app downloads, a figure we are very proud of, we hope the Association’s mission becomes the mission of as many users as possible,” said Denissa Dumitriu, Chief Commercial and Operations Officer at 24pay and PayPoint Services.

“With the help of over 350,000 individual donors and more than 8,000 companies, Dăruiește Viață built a Children’s Hospital from scratch, fulfilling the promise made in 2015. Now we promise to build a Pediatric Medical Campus at Marie Curie so that all children in this Hospital have access to the same treatment standards. This is a promise we all make for the health of our children. Everyone who wants to join this promise and show they care can do so with a donation through the 24pay app, which makes us very happy. #WeBuiltAHospital. Now we’re building a Pediatric Medical Campus,” said Carmen Uscatu, founder of Dăruiește Viață.

“The trust that Dăruiește Viață has gained so far honors us and gives us the strength to move forward. We are grateful that hundreds of thousands of people said #WeAreBuildingAHospital and made it happen. We hope this energy continues and that everyone adds a brick to the construction of Romania’s first Pediatric Medical Campus,” added Oana Gheorghiu, founder of Dăruiește Viață.
