    Ionel Ciucioi appointed Executive Director of ROMPAP

    ROMPAP, the Employers’ Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry in Romania, announces the appointment of Ionel Ciucioi as Executive Director, effective March 2025.

    “I am honored to take on this role at a time of significant transformation for our industry. ROMPAP plays a vital role in representing and supporting the sector. My priority is to help our member companies adapt to evolving sustainability, digitalization, and operational efficiency requirements. Together, we will promote innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of Romania’s pulp and paper sector,” said Ionel Ciucioi, Executive Director of ROMPAP.

    Ionel Ciucioi has been actively involved in ROMPAP for the past seven years, serving as Vice President prior to this new appointment. He has contributed to key regulatory and strategic initiatives aimed at aligning the industry with EU policies on the circular economy and sustainability.

    With over 25 years of experience in management and consulting, Ionel Ciucioi brings extensive expertise in the pulp and paper sector. He led Vrancart Group for more than 11 years as Chairman and CEO, where he spearheaded strategic development, efficiency programs, and sustainability efforts.

    Previously, he worked for nearly a decade in consultancy, advising clients on financial management, auditing, and business strategy across multiple industries.
